Phoenix Day Sidewalk Sale Program

Sunday Streets SF and our partners are supporting 10-15 sidewalk sales citywide with FREE advertising and all the basic tools to organize and promote your sidewalk sale.

Phoenix Day Sidewalk Sales can be hosted by neighborhood merchant associations, community benefit districts, cultural districts, nonprofits, individual businesses or other community members who want to support their local commercial corridor or trade area.

Sidewalk Sale Host Registration Deadline: September 15th, 2022 at 11:59pm

Business Registration Deadline: October 3rd, 2022 at 11:59pm

How It Works

  1. Sidewalk Sale Host registers their corridor or trade area.
  2. Livable City sends the host a digital outreach flyer and a customized google registration form.
  3. Host prints and shares the outreach flyer and registration form provided by Livable City with interested destinations.
  4. Host customizes the marketing flyer and social media templates provided by Livable City with info for their Sidewalk Sale.
  5. Host distributes customized marketing materials on their corridor and sends digital materials to Livable City.
  6. Livable City adds your sidewalk sale to Phoenix Day marketing materials, uses host-provided materials for social media promotion, and advertises your corridor on TV, radio and social media for 4 weeks leading up to October 16th, 2022!

Host Training Sessions

Family Fun Hub hosts are required to attend a full 2 hours training session. Block Party hosts are not required to attend a training but are highly encouraged to join the first hour of any of the training sessions below.
