Dear Sunday Streets Family,

It was incredible to roll out with you again this year and help 60,000+ San Franciscans access human connection, health services, economic opportunity, celebration, and cultural pride in 2022. It also reminded me of why I love San Francisco – at our best, we are a City that can solve problems by celebrating each other’s cultures and playing together in the streets.

We can’t wait to do it again next year for the 15th Anniversary of Sunday Streets SF, but we have some tough news to share. We need to raise $400,000 to present a complete Sunday Streets SF seasonin 2023. If we reach that goal, we can all enjoy six beautiful 1+ mile open street events and Phoenix Day together again in 2023.

If not, San Francisco will only have two events in 2023 and on the simplest routes to run. That means 4 beloved and in need communities won’t have a Sunday Streets SF in 2023 and we won’t be able to celebrate Phoenix Day as a City – unless we all pitch in together to reach this goal.

If Sunday Streets SF is one of the reasons you love San Francisco, we need you to show up it like you’ve never done before. You can start showing up by making a tax-deductible donation today and selecting Sunday Streets SF in the donation form. Letting us know you want to contribute to the future of Sunday Streets SF shows the City and other funders how important Sunday Streets SF is to the people of San Francisco.

You can continue to show up by becoming a monthly donor, sharing this campaign with your friends, or telling your company about sponsoring an event. Every dollar and every share helps.

The past few years have taught us that you have to fight for the things that you love. We love Sunday Streets SF because it helps San Francisco be the City we all want it to be – even if only for 5 hours at a time. We hope you love it too and will show up to make sure it stays part of San Francisco in 2023 and beyond.
