About Sunday Streets in the Tenderloin
Sunday Streets in the Tenderloin has been a huge success in the community. This densely populated neighborhood houses the highest number of families with children, has one of the highest rates of car-free households, and has the least amount of parkspace per capita in San Francisco. Few neighborhoods make a better case for transforming streets into recreational space for playing and building community.
The Tenderloin Sunday Streets route includes Fulton St between Hyde and Larkin, Larkin to Ellis St, Ellis to Jones St, Jones to Golden Gate Ave, and Golden Gate Ave to Larkin St.
